Who we are
This policy explains how Endo Journal (“we”, “us”) handles information in the Endo Journal app and on this website. If you have questions, contact us at support@example.com.
Information you enter in the app
Endo Journal lets you record health information such as symptoms and their intensity, bleeding and period details, daily notes, and days without symptoms. This information is stored locally on your device. We don’t have access to it, and it isn’t sent to our servers.
Because your journal lives on your phone, you are in control of it. Anyone with access to your unlocked phone may be able to open the app, so we recommend protecting your device with a passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID.
Backups
If you have device backups turned on (for example, iCloud Backup), your journal may be included in those backups. Backups are handled by your device provider under their own privacy terms, not by us. We recommend keeping backups turned on so you don’t lose your information if something happens to your phone.
Exporting and importing your data
You can download your data from the app and import it again later, for example when moving to a new phone. Exported files contain your health information, so store and share them carefully. Once you share an export with someone else, such as your doctor, it is handled under their privacy practices.
Deleting your data
You can delete your entries in the app at any time. Deleting the app removes the data stored on your phone. Copies may remain in device backups or in files you exported until you delete those too.
This website
This website doesn’t require an account and doesn’t use advertising cookies. Like most websites, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested) to keep the site secure and running. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts and Fontshare, which means your browser connects to those services when you visit.
If you email us, we use your message and email address only to reply and help you.
Children
Endo Journal is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Since your journal is stored on your device, you can exercise most of these directly in the app. For anything else, email us at support@example.com.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the “last updated” date above. Significant changes will also be noted in the app’s release notes.
